From your New Creation Leadership Team
To all members –
We, the people of New Creation Lutheran Church, are known for our generosity toward others.
We contributed over $5,000 worth of food baskets for the families of Almaden School this winter. We have stepped up for foster kids when they needed school supplies and Christmas gifts. The list is endless. Whenever someone stands on Sunday to ask for support for a newly discovered cause, you can be sure that we will step up with assistance.
It is time to make known another cause, and this is difficult because it is for us and our own church. At the last congregational meeting, six months ago, we decided it was time for us to step up and fund the services needed to continue as a fully-functioning place to worship.
We have heard testimony of the value of this church from so many, and now it is time for us to pledge our continued support for this very important cause, close to ALL of our hearts. Help us to keep our church open to everyone, with fabulous music, motivational sermons, pastoral care, and a wonderfully welcoming relationship with members of New Creation and the Word of God.
Consider fully committing to contribute generously to this cause as you review your expenses from the past year and budget for the year ahead. We are worthy. Believe it.
Sometime next week, you will be receiving more information, as well as pledge cards. These will be available both at the church and in the mail, for those that don’t get theirs from the church. Please prayerfully consider all of this information as you consider making your pledge.

This is a great article — very inspiring.
I would like to encourage those who think that $5 per month or week is too little to be noticed or needed, to hear that it is the act of pledging, and not the amount that is what makes a steward. It is also the act of being regular in your giving — that is, consistently giving every week or month that is also part of being a steward. My prayer for your life as a steward is that you will sign-up for one of the various ways to automatically/electronically send your pledged amount in to the church.
